FREE 20 Hours for all 3 and 4 year olds
Up to 6 hours per day, maximum 20 hours per week. 20 Hours ECE is not income tested, which means that it is equal for all 3 and 4 year olds. HBC does not charge any extra fees on these 20 hours. Fees will only be charged for hours attended that exceed your 6 hours per day or 20 hours per week. Parents are required to attest to their child's 20 Hours ECE at enrolment for when their child turns 3. Your child can receive 20 Hours ECE at more than one Early Childhood Service as long as the total hours between the services does not exceed maximums as stated above.
WINZ - Work & Income Childcare Subsidy
Work and Income Subsidies are available for lower-medium income earning families, based on the family's total gross income, number of dependant children in the family and the number of hours your child attends HBC. Maximum subsidy for childcare hours claimable for preschoolers is 50 hours per week.

Childcare Fees
HBC will endeavour to supply high quality home based childcare that is affordable for all families. All parents are required to pay their childcare fees at the end of every week by internet banking, cheque or cash.
